Workplan for the coming period

The Sofia meeting (July 2007) and Venice Meeting (December 2007) allowed the EU partners to present and discuss the work completed by all partners on the three project themes (Cultural heritage and economic development; Urban regeneration; and Strategic planning and tourism). This work can be reviewed in thedocument repository and on www.comune.venezia.it/archimedes.
Also, the 4 MEDA partners had the opportunity to present the work achieved locally by their local teams during the last months. The SWOT analyses and presentations of the identified Pilot Projects can be downloaded in the document repository and on www.comune.venezia.it/archimedes.

Within the Thematic Working Groups activities, all Archimedes partners are participating to a "virtual discussion" on three priority themes regarding urban planning.
These three themes are:

  • CULTURAL HERITAGE AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT, coordinated by Venice
  • URBAN REGENERATION, coordinated by Bordeaux
  • STRATEGIC PLANNING AND TOURISM, coordinated by Genoa.
In this framework, different working documents have already been produced on each theme, with the collaboration and inputs of all partners:
  • Introduction working paper on the state of the art at European level.
  • Presentation on the occasion of Archimedes Sofia meeting (July 2007), based on the experiences of the MEDA partners.
  • Guidelines (in process)
