The STREAM CITIES project (Strategic European and Mediterranean Cities) has a new manager! The Technical Assistance to the Beneficiaries of the MED-PACT programme would like to welcome Mr. David Crimi on board and wish him success in his mission. Mr. Crimi will be working under the supervision of the new Director for European Affairs at the Municipality of Catania Mr. Roberto Sanfilippo and both of them will be entrusted to put the activities of the project – which went idle since March 2008 due to internal procedural problems – back on track.

After witnessing an idle period following its kick-off meeting in Jerusalem last April, STREAM CITIES (Catania, Italy) witnessed a new birth in October 2007 when the steering committee of the project met in Rome, appointed a Project Manager and decided to re-launch all the activities related to the project.
Work is expected to start with all MEDA partners within the briefest deadlines and the next general meeting for all partners is planned in Sicily in January 2008.
